Planning a wedding in Savannah means saying yes to timeless romance—cobblestone streets, Spanish moss, and the soft glow of southern light. But beyond the pretty backdrop, you need a photographer who will make you feel at ease, capture the joy, and gently guide you without turning your wedding into a photoshoot.

I’m Tracy Townsend, a true-to-color wedding photographer serving Savannah and beyond. If you're craving relaxed photos filled with real emotion and Southern charm, I’d be honored to be by your side.

Planning a wedding in Savannah means saying yes to timeless romance—cobblestone streets, Spanish moss, and the soft glow of southern light.

Jacksonville is filled with beautiful contrasts like historic architecture, modern city vibes, coastal breezes, and hidden nature preserves. It’s got something for every couple, and as a Florida native, I love how this area blends tradition with possibility.

Every Jacksonville wedding I shoot is different, and that’s what makes it special. From sunrise ceremonies by the river to golden hour portraits in the park, I’m here for the moments that matter: the tears, the toasts, the in-between glances you’ll want to relive again and again.

Why I Love Photographing Weddings in Jacksonville

I believe your photos should look like you, feel like you, and last for generations. My editing is clean and classic: no orange skin tones or moody filters here. Instead, I focus on natural colors, soft light, and the emotion behind each frame.

Whether I’m shooting on a sunny dock in Riverside or under oak trees in Avondale, I use gentle posing and real connection to bring out the best in you. You don’t have to be a model or know what to do, I’ll guide you, laugh with you, and help you feel completely at ease.

The Experience: What It's Like to Work With Me

As Seen In

Jacksonville Wedding Venues I Adore

The Ribault Club: Spanish moss, stately white columns, and views of the water. It’s timeless and grand.

Epping Forest Yacht Club: Elegant waterfront estate with gardens and architecture that photograph beautifully.

Azaleana Manor: Gorgeous riverfront setting, especially during golden hour.

The Glass Factory: Industrial-chic vibes, perfect for couples who want a modern, artsy aesthetic.

Bowing Oaks Plantation: Cozy barn feel with twinkle lights and oak trees. Ideal for rustic and romantic weddings.

I recommend booking at least 9–12 months in advance, especially for spring and fall weddings in St. Augustine. Some dates fill quickly!

How far in advance should we book?

Florida weather can shift quickly, but I’m always prepared. If it’s safe and photogenic, we go with it. If not, I’ll help adjust your timeline or reschedule as needed. Some of the best light comes after a little rain!

What if the weather is unpredictable?

Absolutely. I gently guide you through every part of your session so you never feel awkward. Most couples tell me it feels like hanging out with a friend—and that’s the goal.
